Events

Our events provide opportunities for ladies to get together for a time out of the house and have some fun shooting guns and making new friends.  New Shooters are always welcome and experience shooters are always appreciated.  Each event there will be some target practice and/or a fun activity. It is the perfect time to get together for some girl bonding!

These types of events are regularly scheduled:

 Girl's Night Out

Hosted on a week night, usually between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm. We usually gather for dinner after the range, so make sure to check with someone in your chapter about where the fun moves to when the shooting is all done.

 "T" Time

"Target" Time events are the weekend events, and can be scheduled in the morning or afternoon depending on the availability of range.

 Clinics

Our facilitators offer a variety of curriculums on several topics, including gun cleaning, holster selection, firearms safety, how to shop for a gun, first aid for the range, etc. Clinics are presented by local experts and arranged by chapter facilitators.

 Breakfast & Bullets

If you can't get away in the evenings, join us for some morning range time! BYOB (Bring Your Own Breakfast) but it has worked out that the ladies bring something to share.

 Quarterly Match

Every quarter we host a friendly competition within your chapter and as a league. Information on dates, cost, and the kind of activities to expect can be found here.

 Field Trips

Many of our chapters arrange for field trips to regional gun stores for Shopping Days or to other businesses of interest. Other chapters also meet for nonshooting events in order to build camaraderie and friendships.

Training Classes

AG & AG events are a great place to come and learn the basics (grip, stance, sight picture and trigger control), get over your nerves, get some practice in before your Concealed Handgun course, etc; however, they are NOT intended to take the place of a formal training class. If you are a new shooter and you would benefit from one-on-one instruction, then please sign up for a formal training class. Contact one of our firearms instructors or talk to your facilitator and she can help you find the right class.

National Conference

Each year our members have the opportunity to gather at our national conference! Attend training sessions with top instructors, get motivated by speakers, and meet innovative vendors and sponsors. The conference offers many sessions on practical tactics, knowledge and expertise that you can use to improve your shooting skills, and a lot of fun with members from around the globe!

Cancellation of Events

If an AG & AG event is cancelled for any reason, we will make every effort to notify our membership as soon as possible via social media and/or email. We are not responsible for planning, promotion, fees and communication regarding events that are hosted by other clubs, ranges, instructors, etc.  You are responsible for signing up for email/newsletter/social media communications from the hosting party to be notified of cancellation or changes to the event; however, we will do our best to relay all necessary information if we receive it.
